The Brief
To support Exposure with the launch of global outerwear brand Rains’ first Scottish store - located in Glasgow’s city centre. The objective was to deliver a high-impact, culturally relevant event and amplify reach across regional press, influencer communities, and brand-aligned guests.
Our Role
Brought on as Exposure’s on-the-ground partner in Scotland, SALAD was responsible for end-to-end local support, managing logistics and cultural insight to bring the event to life. Our involvement included:
- Guest list creation and VIP/influencer management
- Regional media relations and event outreach
- Product seeding to key local tastemakers
- Sourcing local suppliers across catering, AV and photography
- Securing a drinks sponsor – partnering with Scottish brand Woven Whisky for brand alignment and local flair
The Result
The launch event delivered strong traction across media, social, and industry audiences - generating buzz on the ground and visibility at scale.
- Social placement from the night reached over 1 million
- Press coverage generated an OTS (opportunity to see) of nearly 1 billion
- Positive brand sentiment and cultural credibility for Rains’ entry into the Scottish market
Why It Mattered
This launch wasn’t just about opening doors, it was about establishing a presence. By pairing Rains’ global profile with local insight, trusted partnerships and considered cultural execution, we helped land the brand in Glasgow with real relevance. A successful example of agency collaboration done right - with impact that travelled well beyond the event itself.
