The Brief
Arran Naturals, the younger sister brand of the iconic Arran Sense of Scotland, approached SALAD to bring its new Calm Candle to life through an experiential influencer event.
The challenge: to honour the brand’s heritage while carving out a distinct identity for Arran Naturals - introducing it to a younger audience and positioning it as a modern, wellbeing-led brand.
Our Role
SALAD developed and delivered an intimate, sensory event designed to embody the essence of Calm - celebrating mindfulness, ritual and wellbeing through a premium, content-rich experience.
Our responsibilities included:
Concept Development & Creative Direction: crafting an experience that brought the product’s soothing qualities to life through movement, scent and space.
Partner Management: sourcing and managing partnerships with Space Movement & Wellness Studio and catering collaborators.
Influencer Management: overseeing guest list, invitations, RSVPs, hosting and post-event engagement.
On-Site Production: full event delivery, ensuring seamless flow and attention to every sensory detail.
Event Styling: premium touches featuring Arran Naturals’ Calm Candle, soft lighting, natural textures and calming fragrance.
Reporting: post-event performance tracking and coverage analysis.
The Experience
The event took place in September at Space Movement & Wellness Studio - a modern sanctuary in the city - perfectly aligned with Arran Naturals’ ethos.
Guests were welcomed into a candle lit, scent-filled studio for a slow flow Pilates class, led by a leading instructor from Space. The session encouraged relaxation, reconnection and calm - creating a true wellness ritual.
Post-class, guests enjoyed warming and comforting refreshments, explored the Calm collection, and captured serene, candle-lit content moments. Each attendee received a Calm Candle and wellness kit to extend the ritual at home, further encouraging organic social sharing.
The Result
The activation was a resounding success, receiving glowing feedback from attendees and delivering significant online impact.
- - 10 influencers in attendance, with a combined reach of 1.6 million
- 38 pieces of social coverage from the event (Instagram & TikTok)
- +12 additional influencer gifting send-outs generating a further 16 posts
- Over 50 total influencer placements, spanning Reels, Stories, Grid posts and TikToks
- A co-created Instagram Reel with Space Movement & Wellness amplified visibility through an authentic brand partnership
Why It Mattered
This activation showcased how heritage and modernity can coexist beautifully.
By reinterpreting Arran’s legacy of craftsmanship in scent through a contemporary wellbeing lens, SALAD helped position Arran Naturals as a premium, mindful and modern Scottish beauty brand. One that connects with a new generation of consumers while staying true to its island roots.
The result was more than a candle launch; it was an experience that embodied the art of calm and introduced Arran Naturals as a brand to watch.
