YO! Sushi Wellness Morning - From London to Japan!
Client: YO! Sushi
Location: Frameless, London
Services: Event concept & production, influencer management and partnerships
The Brief
At the start of 2026, YO! wanted to tap into the seasonal shift towards wellness, balance and mindful choices that defines January.
The objective was to deliver an immersive, high-impact wellness event that would showcase YO!’s healthy grab-and-go offering within a premium experiential environment, build meaningful relationships with culturally relevant creators and generate high-quality organic content to fuel January brand storytelling.
The ambition was to create a moment worth sharing; an experience that would inspire authentic advocacy and build brand value.
Our Role
SALAD led the creative direction and full end-to-end delivery of the YO! Wellness Morning as a premium, culture-led experiential activation.
We shaped the concept, secured and collaborated with venue partner Frameless, and curated a guest list of culturally relevant lifestyle, wellness and food creators who naturally align with YO!’s evolving brand positioning. Alongside this, we managed all elements of production. Ensuring every touchpoint felt intentional, immersive and elevated.
We also sourced and secured product contributions from aligned brands to enhance the goody bags, extending the wellness narrative beyond YO! and adding further value for guests.
Rather than building around paid deliverables, we designed an experience that placed creators inside a genuine moment of mindfulness and discovery. Encouraging organic advocacy, authentic storytelling and long-term brand value.
The Experience
On arrival, guests were transported to Japan and welcomed into a fully immersive digital environment. Frameless’s Blank Canvas space became a serene Japanese blossom garden, with soft visuals and calming tones designed to enhance a restorative yoga session led by Lululemon Ambassador Sanchia Legister. The class was intentionally inclusive and accessible, focused on grounding, intention-setting and resetting for the year ahead.
As the session concluded, the environment shifted dramatically, transporting guests from tranquil blossom gardens to the high-energy buzz of Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo’s city centre. This transition connected calm and culture, wellness and flavour, reinforcing YO!’s Japanese-inspired roots in a modern, experiential way.
Following the class, guests enjoyed a curated selection of YO!’s fresh, healthy grab-and-go dishes, showcasing the brand’s evolving menu and feel-good credentials.
The entire journey was designed to feel elevated, premium and shareable. Providing unlimited shareable moments that guests couldn’t wait to show their audiences.
The Result
The event delivered significant organic traction and creator engagement:
- 20 guests in attendance
- 40 pieces of organic content
- Reach of over 160,000 unique users
- Over 400,000 impressions
Feedback from guests was overwhelmingly positive, with creators highlighting the quality of both the experience and the food.
Why It Mattered
The experience reframed YO!’s healthy grab-and-go range not simply as a convenient option,, but as an integral part of an everyday wellness routine.
The activation also proved that creators are far more willing to advocate when the experience feels genuinely special. Rather than transactional posting, guests shared organically because the moment was meaningful, immersive and culturally aligned. This resulted in higher-quality content, stronger sentiment and deeper creator relationships.
Ultimately, the event validated SALAD’s organic-first, experience-led approach. Smaller, highly curated activations can drive stronger ROI, more authentic storytelling and longer-term brand equity than traditional paid-only influencer models, setting a clear blueprint for future YO! experiential activity.
