<image:title>OUR WORK - When Great Hair Goes Viral - Aurum Hair Co. - Make it stand out</image:title>
<image:caption>Image Credit: SALAD Studio x Ruby Goop Client: Aurum Hair Co. Location: Global Services: Brand development, content production, website creative direction, social media management, PR & influencer strategy The Brief Aurum Hair Co. approached SALAD at a pivotal moment - preparing to launch The AirHead, the world’s first detachable roller blow-dry system. The ambition was to build a brand that felt as innovative and premium as the product itself. This required a complete reset across visual identity, content, digital presence and communications strategy, ensuring every touchpoint worked together to position Aurum as a category-defining beauty brand. Beyond launch, the goal was to create a scalable marketing ecosystem - one that could drive awareness, build community and convert attention into sustained growth. Our Role SALAD led the brand’s evolution from concept to launch, delivering a fully integrated creative and communications approach. Through SALAD Studio, we curated a best-in-class team of Scottish creative talent to produce a cohesive and elevated content suite. This included: Art Direction & Production - led by SALAD, shaping a premium, modern visual identity Campaign Photography - by Donna McGowan, capturing the product in a clean, aspirational and editorial way Social-First Video Content - by Ruby Goop, designed to educate, engage and drive platform performance Pack Shot & Tutorial Content - ensuring clarity, usability and conversion Alongside this, we collaborated with studio partner Sunee Studio on the creative direction, design and build of a new website - creating a digital home that reflects the quality, innovation and ambition of the brand. Following launch, our role expanded into an ongoing retainer, covering: - Social Media Management - PR - Influencer Marketing - Brand Partnerships The Result The impact has been immediate. Within the first week of taking on social media management: - 2M+ Instagram reel views (across regular and trial formats) - +107% follower growth - 107,000% increase in reach - 12.5K+ engagements in 7 days The content strategy successfully balanced education with entertainment - translating product innovation into highly shareable, platform-native content. Early traction has positioned Aurum as one of the most exciting new entrants in the beauty space, with strong indicators for continued growth as the brand scales. Why It Mattered Aurum is a clear example of what happens when product, creative and strategy align. By bringing together innovative product design, high-quality content and a cohesive communications approach, we were able to build momentum quickly and meaningfully. Not just driving visibility, but creating a foundation for long-term brand equity. It's also a great example of how the SALAD Studio model comes to life beyond launch - not just creating the assets, but activating them in a way that drives real results. Massive credit to the wider team and collaborators who helped build the world and to Aurum for trusting the process. <image:title>OUR WORK - YO! Sushi Wellness Morning - From London to Japan! - Make it stand out</image:title>
<image:caption>Client: YO! Sushi Location: Frameless, London Services: Event concept & production, influencer management and partnerships The Brief At the start of 2026, YO! wanted to tap into the seasonal shift towards wellness, balance and mindful choices that defines January. The objective was to deliver an immersive, high-impact wellness event that would showcase YO!’s healthy grab-and-go offering within a premium experiential environment, build meaningful relationships with culturally relevant creators and generate high-quality organic content to fuel January brand storytelling. The ambition was to create a moment worth sharing; an experience that would inspire authentic advocacy and build brand value. Our Role SALAD led the creative direction and full end-to-end delivery of the YO! Wellness Morning as a premium, culture-led experiential activation. We shaped the concept, secured and collaborated with venue partner Frameless, and curated a guest list of culturally relevant lifestyle, wellness and food creators who naturally align with YO!’s evolving brand positioning. Alongside this, we managed all elements of production. Ensuring every touchpoint felt intentional, immersive and elevated. We also sourced and secured product contributions from aligned brands to enhance the goody bags, extending the wellness narrative beyond YO! and adding further value for guests. Rather than building around paid deliverables, we designed an experience that placed creators inside a genuine moment of mindfulness and discovery. Encouraging organic advocacy, authentic storytelling and long-term brand value. The Experience On arrival, guests were transported to Japan and welcomed into a fully immersive digital environment. Frameless’s Blank Canvas space became a serene Japanese blossom garden, with soft visuals and calming tones designed to enhance a restorative yoga session led by Lululemon Ambassador Sanchia Legister. The class was intentionally inclusive and accessible, focused on grounding, intention-setting and resetting for the year ahead. As the session concluded, the environment shifted dramatically, transporting guests from tranquil blossom gardens to the high-energy buzz of Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo’s city centre. This transition connected calm and culture, wellness and flavour, reinforcing YO!’s Japanese-inspired roots in a modern, experiential way. Following the class, guests enjoyed a curated selection of YO!’s fresh, healthy grab-and-go dishes, showcasing the brand’s evolving menu and feel-good credentials. The entire journey was designed to feel elevated, premium and shareable. Providing unlimited shareable moments that guests couldn’t wait to show their audiences. The Result The event delivered significant organic traction and creator engagement: - 20 guests in attendance - 40 pieces of organic content - Reach of over 160,000 unique users - Over 400,000 impressions Feedback from guests was overwhelmingly positive, with creators highlighting the quality of both the experience and the food. Why It Mattered The experience reframed YO!’s healthy grab-and-go range not simply as a convenient option,, but as an integral part of an everyday wellness routine. The activation also proved that creators are far more willing to advocate when the experience feels genuinely special. Rather than transactional posting, guests shared organically because the moment was meaningful, immersive and culturally aligned. This resulted in higher-quality content, stronger sentiment and deeper creator relationships. Ultimately, the event validated SALAD’s organic-first, experience-led approach. Smaller, highly curated activations can drive stronger ROI, more authentic storytelling and longer-term brand equity than traditional paid-only influencer models, setting a clear blueprint for future YO! experiential activity.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Image Credit: @itscalmandchaos Client: Arran Naturals Location: Edinburgh Services: Event concept & production, influencer management, partnerships, styling, content creation The Brief To mark the start of a new year, Arran Naturals wanted to create a meaningful, wellness-led moment that would connect audiences to the brand’s five fragrance expressions - Calm, Uplift, Renew, Awaken and Mindful. Following a successful wellness activation in Glasgow, the ambition was to deepen brand equity and expand reach through an intimate, premium influencer experience in Edinburgh. The objective was to move beyond traditional product showcasing and instead create a sensory-led moment that would build genuine emotional connection, inspire organic content and position Arran Naturals firmly within Scotland’s growing wellness space. Each of Arran Naturals’ five fragrance expressions was brought to life through colour, scent and energy: Calm - Lavender & Chamomile Uplift - Bergamot & Grapefruit Renew - Cedarwood & Ylang Ylang Awaken - Mint & Eucalyptus Mindful - Lemon & Patchouli Guests were invited to intuitively select the scent they felt most aligned with, before Jade delivered a personalised energetic reading - exploring emotional symbolism, chakra connections and what this alignment could represent for the year ahead. The experience offered a moment for pause and reflection during a typically high-pressure January, creating a genuine connection between guest, product and purpose. The Result The activation delivered strong engagement and meaningful brand connection. - 8 creators in attendance - Combined following of 790k+ - 22 pieces of strong organic social content - Coverage across Instagram reels, posts and stories Content landed in a highly authentic and considered way, with creators sharing thoughtful reflections on both the experience and the products. Post-event gifting extended the lifecycle of the activation, generating additional content and reinforcing personal connection to the brand. Feedback from guests was overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting the uniqueness of the experience and its relevance during the winter period. Why It Mattered This activation demonstrated the power of slowing down. By moving away from traditional influencer formats and instead creating a genuinely meaningful, sensory experience, Arran Naturals was able to build deeper emotional connection, stronger advocacy and more considered storytelling. It reinforced the brand’s position as a modern, wellness-led offering - rooted in ritual, intention and everyday balance. A reminder that in a crowded landscape, the most impactful experiences are often the most thoughtful.</image:caption>

<image:title>OUR WORK - Rune - Big Girl Brunch - Make it stand out</image:title>
<image:caption>Client: RUNE Location: London Services: Event concept, production, influencer & VIP management, community engagement, partnerships The Brief RUNE - an emerging plus-size fashion brand redefining modern wardrobe staples - approached SALAD to support their first-ever community event. The vision was clear: create a space where plus-size creators, stylists, editors and industry leaders could gather for honest conversation, connection and celebration. At a time when the fashion industry is visibly regressing on body diversity, RUNE wanted to spark a meaningful moment - one that centred the voices of the community they serve and reinforced their mission with authenticity and heart. Our Role SALAD partnered with RUNE to develop, shape and deliver an event that balanced intimacy, impact and cultural relevance. Our work included: - Event concept & format development - End-to-end event management & production - Influencer & VIP guestlist curation - Press outreach & industry invitations - On-site hosting & flow management - Partnership support & logistics The goal was to create a morning that felt intentional, uplifting and rooted in genuine community care - reflecting both RUNE’s values and their place in the wider fashion landscape. The Experience The Big Girl Brunch brought together a diverse and influential guestlist of plus-size creators, stylists, editors and industry voices for a morning of fashion, food and conversation. The heart of the event was a powerful roundtable discussion co-hosted by RUNE founder Hannah Thompson and trailblazing content creator Danielle Vanier. Together, alongside guests, they explored: - The realities of being plus-size in the fashion industry, - The representation gaps that still exist, - The responsibility brands carry, - The change the community wants (and deserves) to see. The conversation was honest, vulnerable and galvanising. Guests left feeling inspired, connected and deeply seen - a rare thing in an industry that often sidelines plus-size consumers. Notable attendees included Callie Thorpe, Felicity Hayward, high-profile stylists and respected fashion insiders - a huge moment for a small independent label like RUNE, signalling genuine respect and belief in the brand’s mission. The Result The impact was immediate and powerful: - Significant spikes in RUNE’s social reach and engagement - Overwhelming positive sentiment across creators and attendees - A strengthened community network for the brand - Elevated visibility and credibility within the UK fashion space - Meaningful conversations lighting up social feeds in real time The event demonstrated a clear truth: when brands show up authentically for their community, the community also shows up for them. Why It Mattered The Big Girl Brunch arrived at a critical moment, as the fashion world continues to pull back on body diversity and inclusive representation. By investing in real conversation and community-building, rather than marketing tropes, RUNE positioned themselves as a brand rooted in purpose, not performance. For SALAD, it was an honour to support such an important moment for a young, independent label who is offering something vital in a space that needs leadership more than ever. And judging by the response from attendees, creators and the wider industry - RUNE’s message is resonating.</image:caption>

The partnership marked Birds’ first major Edinburgh moment and underscored the versatility of the Rare Birds format - capable of landing in neighbourhood kitchens and award-winning restaurants alike.
