International Women’s Day 2026: Give to Gain
International Women’s Day 2026 carries a powerful theme: Give to Gain. At SALAD, that resonated immediately. Because meaningful impact, in both business and community, rarely comes from working alone. It comes from collaboration and generosity of spirit. Giving time. Giving insight. Giving support. And giving a platform.
So this year, we’re putting our time where our values are!
Our Commitment
To mark International Women’s Day 2026, SALAD is offering 2 x free half-day marketing and communications strategy sessions. Completely free of charge.
These sessions will be awarded to a Scottish charity or social enterprise supporting women’s issues.
Whether that’s:
Women’s health
Domestic abuse support
Education and mentorship
Economic empowerment
Refugee support
Creative access
Or community-led grassroots initiatives
We want to support organisations doing meaningful work and help strengthen their voice for 2026 and beyond.
The selected organisation will receive:
2 x tailored half-day strategy workshops with the SALAD team
A review of current marketing & communications activity
Clear recommendations and strategic direction for 2026
A follow-up action summary document to guide implementation
Why We’re Doing This
As a female-founded agency rooted in collaboration and community, we know how transformative access to strategic support can be.
Many charities and social enterprises are doing extraordinary work with limited resources. A fresh perspective, structured thinking and a few hours of focused strategy can create real momentum.
And if we can help even one organisation gain clarity, confidence and visibility this year, that feels like the right way to honour the spirit of International Women’s Day and this year’s important theme.
How to Nominate
We’re inviting our community to help us find the right organisations.
If you know a Scottish charity or social enterprise supporting women that would benefit from this support:
Tag them in our International Women’s Day post
Or share this blog with them directly
They’ll need to complete our short entry form to be considered. See link below.
Applications are now live with a deadline of Monday 9th March 2026. We’ll select one organisation shortly after and schedule their sessions in April and June.
If you know an organisation that deserves strategic support this year, we’d love to hear about them. Let’s collaborate to give back to our community.
International Women’s Day is about celebration, but it’s also about action. This is ours.
